An unusual find near the Indo-Pakistani border in Sriganganagar sparked a security alert late Wednesday night when a balloon emblazoned with the logo of a Pakistani airline was discovered. The object, an airplane-shaped balloon featuring "SGA Pakistan International Airlines" in both Urdu and English, was found deflated in a field within the Padampur region.
A local farmer stumbled upon the balloon and promptly notified the Ghamurwali police. A police team quickly arrived on the scene, securing the deflated balloon and transporting it to the police station for storage and further investigation.
"We were alerted about the balloon around 9 p.m. and dispatched a team immediately," stated Prathvi Raj Bishnoi, the Gharmuwali police station in-charge. He confirmed that the balloon, although deflated, did not have any suspicious devices or materials attached to it. However, the presence of the Pakistani airline's insignia led authorities to escalate the matter, informing senior officials and intelligence agencies who have since initiated an inquiry into the incident.
